Deborah V. Charlemagne grew up in the Bronx and at one point in her life, needed many of the services that Step Up for Better Living (Step Up) provides. Deborah joined the Step Up Board because she has reached a point in her life where she is able to give back and help others. She received a BBA degree from Baruch College. Deborah currently serves as a Market Director for JPMorgan Chase where she covers the Bronx West Market which consists of 20 Branches. She feels the most important part of her work is to provide financial education for the people of the Bronx. Deborah truly believes that teaching people how to plan for their future will create a better life for them. Her greatest moments are when she sees a client save and achieve a goal. Deborah joined the Step Up as the Secretary because she wanted to be a part of an organization that helps the community she grew up in. She enjoys working in the Bronx because she is able to utilize the generosity and resources of her firm to help those in need.
